Birthdays are the best!

Remember how fun birthdays were when you were a kid? I had countdowns until my next birthday and would inform total strangers of the impeding celebration. It's easy to blow off your birthday when you get older. You think about what you had hoped to accomplish by the time you were this age and wonder where that wrinkle between eyebrows came from (seriously, did that sprout overnight?!) I think it's time to bring back the excitement of birthdays no matter what your age. Theme parties, balloons, prize bags and pinatas. And let's proudly declare our age because if you've made it this far you're doing something right. I'm 37 and 1/3 and proud of it!
